Gladness
"The Lord hath done great things for us, whereof we are glad." --Psalm 126:3
Do we sometimes have a tendency to look on the dark side of things, and dwell more upon what we have gone through rather than what God has done for us? If someone should ask your impression of the Christian life, how would you respond? Would you describe your conflicts, afflictions, adversities, and sinfulness of heart? Or, would you come forward joyously, and speak not of yourself, but speak to the glory and honour of your Lord? If you chose the latter, then you are a Christian whose soul is in a healthy state.
It is a joyous thing for the Christian to shout to the world of God's great love. He sings aloud a new song; a song of how he was brought up out of a horrible pit, and out of the miry clay; how his feet have been set upon a rock and how God has established his life in Christ. His voice is full of praises, for
he is glad!
The Father's Wings of Love
Swiftly and boldly, tenderly and delicately
Thy warmth doeth soar to surround Thy nest;
Releasing, liberating, recovering and reclaiming
That which is Thine, unto Thy breast.
Extending beyond measure, Thy wings do unfold ~
With radiance, none can conceal;
A sacred overflow spilling from loves essence,
Bringing to Thy bride immense joy and zeal.

Gods Love
He is my joy and my song,
even when things go wrong;
He is my life and happiness
... in His love, I will rest
